Roses Production Manager 🌹
Job Description
Are you passionate about floriculture and experienced in managing rose production? We’re looking for a Roses Production Manager to join our dynamic horticultural team at Akiton Farms Ltd!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of rose production, from propagation to harvesting.
- Ensure optimal growing conditions and implement best horticultural practices.
- Supervise and coordinate farm workers and technical staff.
- Monitor pest and disease control, fertilization, irrigation, and pruning schedules.
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure high-quality output.
- Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to meet market demand.
- Ensure compliance with safety and agricultural standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in rose or floriculture production (summer flowers).
- Degree/Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with modern rose farming techniques and greenhouse systems.
- Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make timely decisions.
